Arab, Alabama Information

Arab, Alabama is a town that has maintained its southern charm while embracing the future. Located in western Marshall County, Arab has easy access to Huntsville with the 25 mile commute made easier by the four-lane Highway 231, which has access to the Marshall Space Flight Center and Redstone Arsenal.

The latest BRAC decisions will bring many new residents to our area so the cities have produced a Tennessee Valley Information Center web site, which includes more Redstone Arsenal data and Huntsville / Madison County information.

General Information

The Arab City School system is a cut above the norm with a K through 12 enrollment of approximately 2,700 students. Marshall Medical Center North, located about 8 miles east of town, provides medical care for the area. There is a nice city park with a swimming pool, ball fields and an area of restored historic buildings. Arab also has two, public 18-hole golf courses and we have over a dozen different eating establishments.
